PHARMEXX PROMOTE PAVACOL®D     4 September 2008

Sales organisation Pharmexx has been appointed by Alliance Pharmaceuticals to raise the profile of Pavacol D in pharmacy.

Pavacol D is a leading pharmacy only brand of pholcodine cough medicine.  It has a pleasant tasting sugar free formulation which is also suitable for diabetics.  Pavacol D can be recommended for both adults and children from the age of 6 years.  The Pavacol D range has both 150ml and 300ml bottle sizes.

Pharmexx Managing Director Nigel Mansford said "Pavacol D is a brand with a strong prescription and repeat business built over the years but which is ideal for pharmacy to recommend for dry and irritating coughs".

This development follows the transfer of the marketing and distribution rights for Pavacol D to Alliance Pharmaceuticals on 15th August.

Hydromol^® Cream  Hydromol^® Emollient  Hydromol^® Ointment

On the 1 March 2006, the distribution of Hydromol Cream, Hydromol Emollient and Hydromol Ointment will be transferred from Ferndale Pharmaceuticals Limited to Alliance Pharmaceuticals Limited.  At a later date the marketing authorisations will also transfer.

On the 15 November 2004 the distribution of Periostat will be transferred from CollaGenex International Limited to Alliance Pharmaceuticals Limited. At a later date the marketing authorisations will also transfer.

Forceval Protein Powder (protein, multivitamin and mineral supplements)
Gregoderm (hydrocortisone 1%, neomycin 0.4%, nystatin 100,000 units/g, polymyxin B 7250 units/g)
Uniflu with Gregovite C (caffeine, codeine, diphenhydramine, paracetamol, phenylephrine)
