Director Share Purchases

Alliance Pharma plc (AIM: APH), the speciality pharmaceutical company, was
informed on 15 October 2008 that two directors have made the following purchases
of the Company's shares.

Richard Wright, the Company's Finance Director, purchased 100,000 ordinary
shares of 1p each in the Company on 15 October 2008 at a price of 4.0p per
share. Mr Wright's resultant shareholding is 190,768 ordinary shares, equivalent
to 0.12 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

Andrew Smith, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, purchased 40,000 ordinary
shares of 1p each in the Company on 14 October 2008 at a price of 4.0p per
share. Mr Smith's resultant shareholding is 200,000 ordinary shares, equivalent
to 0.12 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
