Tax Credit Claims

Alliance Pharma plc (AIM: APH), the speciality pharmaceutical company, announces that it is making Research & Development Tax Credit claims in respect of the 2006 and 2007 financial years, which could result in cash payments to the Company from HM Revenue & Customs of around £0.7m. These tax credit cash payments are likely to have a positive impact on the Company's reported profits in 2008. Neither claim has yet been finally agreed with HM Revenue and Customs, but Alliance Pharma has received £440,000 cash in respect of the claim for 2006.

The Company will provide a pre-close trading update in early July ahead of the announcement of its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2008, which is scheduled for 10 September 2008.
