Shareholder Alert

The Board of Alliance Pharma plc (the "Company") is aware that a number people have received unsolicited approaches to buy shares or warrants in Alliance Pharma plc. The Company believes that these are not bona fide offers and shareholders should be aware that these are viewed as suspicious by the Company.

Shareholders are advised to be wary of such calls. If you receive any unsolicited investment advice:

• ensure that you get the correct name of the caller, the name of the company he or she represents and full contact details
  
• check with the FSA if the company is authorised to do business. If you deal with an unauthorised firm you will not be eligible to receive payment under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
  
• if you are approached about a share scam you should tell the FSA using the share fraud reporting form at www.fsa.gov.uk/scams where you can find out about the latest investment scams. You can also call Consumer Helpline on 0845 606 1234.
